
Police have arrested a Lebanon man for a pair of armed store robberies in the city Thursday night.
Jose Falu-Ortiz, 46, is charged with robbing the corner store at 482 N. 5th Street just after 6 p.m. and the Issis Mobil at 12th and Cumberland streets four hours later, according to Lebanon police.
In both cases, a masked men entered the store, brandished what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money, police said. He left each store with an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.
Falu-Ortiz was arrested in the area of 10th and Guilford streets early Friday. Police said they did not recover a firearm during the investigation.
