PAXTONIA, Pa. (WHTM) -
A 41-year-old man is accused of attacking his roommate with a sword, according to Lower Paxton Township police.
Police said Mervin Hamilton struck the man with the sword several times on the head and hands on the 100 block of Beaver Road in Paxtonia on Friday around 5 p.m.
The sword was recovered from the scene and Hamilton was taken into custody.
He was charged with felony aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
Hamilton is in Dauphin County Prison on $50,000 bail.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and released, police said.
