A trial date has been set for a former Lebanon pastor charged with killing his second wife, according to authorities.
Authorities said 63-year-old Arthur Schirmer's trial is set to begin in January.
He's charged in the July 2008 death of his wife, Betty Jean, in Monroe County.
Prosecutors said Schirmer killed her, and then put her body in a car and caused a crash to cover up the murder.
Authorities in Lebanon County are also investigating the death of Schirmer's first wife Jewel in 1999.
Her death was ruled a homicide, but no charges have been filed, authorities said.
Schirmer's attorney denies his client harmed either woman.
