Broad Street Market passes health inspection

Posted: Updated:
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

The Broad Street Market has passed the city's latest health codes inspection Tuesday and both buildings have been deemed fit to continue operation.

City spokesman Robert Philbin said however that two venders, Capitol Box Lunch and Sinful Sweets, did not meet compliance and cannot operate until all violations are corrected.

The brick building at 1233 N. 3rd Street will reopen Wednesday. The stone building had reopened Friday.

City officials forced the market to close August 17 after inspectors said they found cockroaches and rodents.
