A Harrisburg man known as Zorro has been arrested as the dress-wearing robber who held up an Allison Hill teenager at knifepoint, according to city police.
Jose Chavez Jimenez, 21, was taken into custody Tuesday at his rooming house, where officers also found a small amount of cocaine, police said.
He was sent to Dauphin County Prison on charges of robbery and drug possession.
The 16-year-old victim was robbed Sunday night in the 1400 block of Derry Street by a man wearing a blonde wig and pink dress, who punched the teen in the face before taking his wallet, police said.
Investigators learned from witnesses that the robber is known in the area as Zorro, and several people came forward and helped identify him after news of the crime spread, police said.
