CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Carlisle resident was ready when a group of thieves hit his neighborhood.
He set up a surveillance camera in the area of 4th Avenue and successfully captured three people who ended up breaking into his vehicle and stealing $5 in
change, according to borough police.
Investigators are now hoping that someone will recognize the thieves from the photos.
The crime is believed to have happened in the early hours of Wednesday.
Police said another resident had a GPS unit stolen from her car while it was parked behind her home in the 300 block of W. Penn Street.
That theft occurred between 5 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.
