GREENCASTLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Franklin County barn dating back to the 1700's was destroyed by fire late Thursday.

The two-story barn at 6151 Guitner Road in Antrim Township, between Marion and Greencastle, was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived after 11 p.m.

The barn contained a piece of farm machinery, a vehicle, about 100 bales of hay on the top floor, and firewood on the bottom floor.

The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.

The owners told abc27 News the barn is the oldest in Franklin County and had no electricity.

The blaze was under control in just under two hours. There were no reports of any injuries to any firefighters.
