Mechanicsburg man arrested for setting fire to home

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Mechanicsburg area man has been arrested for setting fire to his home.

Justin D. Capstick, 24, was charged this week with counts including arson, risking a catastrophe, and reckless endangerment, according to Upper Allen Township police.

Officers in the early hours of June 28 went to Capstick's home in the 1100 block of Floribunda Lane for an unrelated matter and saw fire inside the residence, according to police.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames in Capstick's bedroom, but police said their investigation determined the fire was no accident.

Capstick was arraigned and sent to Cumberland County Prison on $2,500 bail.
