HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A bicyclist was hospitalized Thursday night after he was struck by a vehicle near Harrisburg.
Swatara Township police said the 22-year-old man was crossing the 2900 block of Paxton Street in the middle of the block when he was struck by the westbound vehicle just after 6 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
The bicyclist is possibly from Turkey and investigators have been unable to determine if he has a local address, nor have they located any family members, police said. His name has not been released.
He remained at Penn State Hershey Medical Center as of noon Friday.
