STEELTON, Pa. (WHTM) -
Officials in Steelton are investigating an overnight fire as suspicious.
The fire broke out just before midnight Sunday at a home along the 700 block of South Front Street.
Officials said the fire started on the front porch then spread to the second floor and attic.
Suzy Kuder said he and a woman in the home escaped just in time.
"I went in my house and went upstairs to lay down in my bed and I smelled something and I was not sure if it came from the mill across the street or from my house," Kuder said. "I was halfway down the stairs and people were beating on my door and that was the fire department or police, and that is what happened."
Kuder said his house was full of smoke and flames within 10 minutes.
