NEWVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

A man was seriously injured when the milk truck he was driving crashed and flipped over causing him to be pinned under the truck, according to state police.

The crash happened on Doubling Gap Road and Roxbury Road in Lower Mifflin Township on Wednesday around 12:15 p.m.

The truck was hauling 46,000 pounds of milk. An unknown amount of milk was spilling into a small stream right underneath of the truck, police said.

It's unknown how the crash occurred, police said.

The driver was flown to Hershey Medical Center.

Another milk truck was being called to the scene to pump out the remaining milk from the damaged truck, according to fire officials.
