HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
An early morning fire ripped through a popular Susquehanna Township restaurant, causing at least $100,000 in damage.
Fire crews were called to Gabriella's Italian Ristorante around 5:45 Saturday morning and found heavy smoke and flames in the kitchen. It took firefighters only a few minutes to extinguish, but smoke and water damage is extensive.
According to the restaurant's owner, the fire was electrical in nature.
He told abc27 they will get to work immediately to begin renovating, but it will likely be 2-3 months before the restaurant can reopen.
