YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -
Crews battled a two-alarm house fire in York County Sunday night after the family escaped the smoke and flames inside.
The fire broke out shortly before 11 p.m. on West Philadelphia Street in West Manchester Township.
Firefighters told abc27 the family exited onto the roof after their cat woke them up by scratching at the door.
It took crews about 10 minutes to get the fire under control.
