PROGRESS, Pa. (WHTM) -

There is a twin invasion in Susquehanna Township Dauphin County.  Sara Lindemuth Elementary has 12 sets of twins, all in kindergarten.

"At kindergarten registration we were counting," said Principal Sabina Grant-Spencer. "We had five, then six, then seven. We ended up [with] twelve ... We were wondering what's going on in the water? Why do we have so many twins?"

Madison and McKenna Vo are identical twins and in the same class.

"I was born first," said McKenna.

"But, I am a little bigger than her," argued her sister Madison.

The twins are getting ready to celebrate their sixth birthday.

"They look out for each other, so its really neat to see how they have that bond together," said kindergarten teacher Vatesha Bouler.

The Jordan twins say the best part is that they always have someone to play with at home.

"Well, me and my sister play. We play with my princess stuff," said Bobbi Jordan.

Jordan Early is the outspoken one. Her fraternal twin sister Quinn is the quiet one.

"We like to play outside," said Jordan. "I was born first."

Some parents requested the twins be in separate classrooms, to give them a chance to be individuals.

Teachers say they still get to have lunch and recess together.

"It has been really interesting and unique experience," said kindergarten teacher Hannah Wambach.

Workers at the school say they hope to see all the twins graduate together.

According to the Guinness Book of World records, the most sets of twins in the same academic year at one school is 16 pairs.
