LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Lancaster teenager is accused of attacking a man with a large machete during an argument between the two.
Alejandro Yasmani Castillo-Contreras, 17, of the 100 block of Laurel Street, was charged as an adult with aggravated assault, according to city police. He was being held in Lancaster County Prison on $50,000 straight bail.
Officers were sent to the 300 block of Howard Avenue for a report of a stabbing Thursday night when they found the victim standing on the front porch of a home suffering from a large cut to his left arm, police said.
The victim told investigators that Castillo-Contreras attacked him with a machete. He was sent to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment of the cut and a fractured elbow. His name was not released.
The teen was located in the 500 block of Terrace Road in Lancaster City and taken into custody after witnesses identified him as the attacker, police said.
