CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Several state troopers and Chambersburg police officers were sent to break up a fight at a memorial service for a young man who was shot and killed.

About 50 people were gathered Wednesday afternoon in the area of Franklin Street and Martin Avenue for a memorial of 18-year-old Calvin Beam when the fight broke out between the memorial goers and passers-by.

About a dozen state troopers and about the same number of borough police officers responded to the scene.

Beam died at Penn State Hershey Medical Center after he was shot Monday night.

Police have announced no arrests in the case.
