Police have charged Raymond Budzinski, 27, with reckless endangerment after bullets he fired hit a home while a woman and young child were inside, according to police.
The woman said a piece of glass struck the wall near her after a bullet shattered her sliding glass door Friday afternoon. Police say the bullet came a handgun Budzinski fired in the nearby woods.
Northern York Regional Police say Budzinski was in the woods with a friend and a friend's young daughter, when he attempted to shoot a tree near the 3100 block of Galaxy Road. He missed and the .45 caliber bullet struck the victim's home.
Budzinski was shooting a Taurus Judge handgun that is capable of shooting both .410 shotgun shells as well as .45 caliber handgun rounds.
When Northern York County Police attempted to arrest Budzinski, he led them on a short foot chase. Budzinski was then arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, discharging of a firearm at an occupied structure, possession of a prohibited firearm and firearm not to be carried without a license.
