N. Middleton man charged with impersonating officer

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in Cumberland County have charged a North Middleton Township man with impersonating a public servant.

Township police said Monday that David Russell Yoder, 52, of Bradley Drive, was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Police said they received a complaint in June that Yoder stopped and questioned a driver while displaying a badge at the intersection of West Hillcrest Drive and Spring Road.

Authorities have been investigating the incident since receiving the complaint.

Yoder will receive charges in the mail, police said.
