Roanoke Police Investigating Multi Vehicle/Pedestrian Accident

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police are investigating a vehicle/pedestrian accident that happened Monday night. Police went to the 2100 block of Dale Avenue at 8:02 p.m. Police say a Mazda SUV was going east on Dale Avenue when it was struck from behind by a Dodge Durango driven by 28-year old Choubenta Aristilde of Roanoke.

The Mazda then ran onto an embankment and struck a pedestrian. Police say Aristilde was charged with failure to maintain control of her vehicle. The pedestrian, the Mazda driver, Aristilde and her passengers were taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. No word on all of their conditions.
