Police arrest Lebanon man for bank, store robberies - abc27 WHTM

Police have arrested a Lebanon man wanted for a bank robbery in the city and the armed robbery of a convenience store in North Cornwall Township on the same day.

Avon Quiero Jr., 38, was taken into custody without incident Wednesday afternoon in the area of the Walmart store at 11th Avenue and East Lehman Street in North Lebanon Township, city police said.

Police said Quiero on Tuesday handed a note demanding money to a teller and displayed what appeared to be a gun at the Wells Fargo bank in the 800 block of Cumberland Street.

North Cornwall police said he faces charges of robbery, theft, and retail theft stemming from an armed robbery at a Hess Express store.
