MILLERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Dauphin County bridal shop wants to celebrate Veterans Day in a very special way.
Next month "Special Moments Bridal Boutique" in Millersburg will be giving away 100 new wedding gowns to military personnel, both active and veterans on November 12th from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The boutique has a room set up with top designer gowns that have been discontinued for military brides-to-be. Arrangements have been made to offer discounts for current dresses in the main showroom.
"There isn't much I can do in my position, and I know these people are out there fighting every day for my freedom, that I can have my business here, and I really appreciate that fact. So, I had heard of another bridal shop that did this, and thought it was a great way to honor the veterans in that respect," said Wanda Latshaw, owner of Special Moments Bridal Boutique.
In order to receive the free gown you must show a valid military ID at the boutique on Veterans Day.
