CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Carlisle police have arrested a man wanted for a stabbing last week in a dispute over a dog.

William Michael Harris, 20, address unknown, surrendered himself on Sunday, police said.

Harris faces charges of aggravated assault and endangerment for the incident Tuesday morning in the 100 block of East Penn Street, where the victim was found on the sidewalk with three stab wounds, including one to his chest.

The victim, identified as 19-year-old Dashawn Devonshire, was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center and was listed in stable condition.

Witnesses told police the stabbing happened after Harris heard Devonshire gave his dog cold medicine that made it sick.
