Since last November, Jerry Sandusky has been called many things; a monster, a predator, and a convicted child molester. Monday night, Jerry Sandusky called himself innocent in a recording released to student media at Penn State University.
"In my heart I know I did not do these alleged disgusting acts," Sandusky said in the recording.
One of his lawyers, Karl Rominger, confirmed the voice in the recording is Sandusky.
"Jerry wants to get his story out," Rominger said, "He maintains his innocence. He believes he did nothing wrong, and he wants everybody to know that, and he's been frustrated by the process."
During part of the recording, Sandusky said he has always been faithful to wife, Dottie.
"My wife has been my only sex partner that was after marriage," he said. "Our love continues."
Rominger said since the morning after Sandusky was convicted in June, he has brought up similar concerns with him.
"He told me the most embarrassing thing about this case is that the world thinks he's unfaithful to his wife," Rominger explained.
Sandusky also spoke about fighting the allegations, even though he has been convicted.
"Justice will have to be more than just a word, fairness be more than just a dream," he said.
Sandusky is set to be sentenced inside the Centre County courthouse Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m..
