HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
It's been just over a year since owner Char Magaro lost Char's Bella Mundo Restaurant in Shipoke to the September 2011 flood.
Magaro has now moved to a location on Front Street in Harrisburg. Char's Tracy Mansion will officially begin welcoming guest on Tuesday.
"I want people to feel special and feel that this establishment offers different venues, rooms depending on if they just want a drink or a private conversation" said Magaro.
Char's at Tracy Mansion has a Susquehanna riverfront view and features more room, a library, private dining area and an outside oasis.
The restaurant will feature French cuisine.
Magaro's entire staff has returned and she said she looks forward to seeing old customers and welcoming new ones in an area that she loves.
"I believe Midtown is just going to raise the rest of this city. I really do. There is young and really contemporary thinking, progressive thing people here," said Magaro.
