Roanoke, VA - The Obama camp was busy in our area Monday as well with three stops from President Obama's "Gotta Vote" bus tour.
The tour made a stop in Harrisonburg before swinging into Roanoke for lunch.
After that stop, it heads to Virginia Tech.
Monday is the last day to register to vote, and Democrats hope the bus was effective in getting people to register.
"So they can exercise their most sacred privilege and that is to vote - engage in our democracy. We're the best nation on earth, and it's about voting. We want to encourage everyone to register so they can have their voice heard," said Brian Moran, chairman of the Democratic Party of Virginia.
The bus is essentially a rolling campaign office that recently has been focusing on mobilizing the vote on college campuses.
