MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police in Cumberland County have arrested a Harrisburg man wanted for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old child.
Rayshawn J. Swanson, 21, was transferred to Cumberland County on Wednesday following his arrest in Harrisburg and arraigned before a district judge on charges of indecent assault, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor, according to Upper Allen Township police.
Police said they received information in September that
Swanson had sexually assaulted the juvenile acquaintance in July. A warrant for his arrest was obtained on October 1.
Swanson was sent to Cumberland County Prison on $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled
for October 22.
