CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
The owner of The Green Room bistro in Carlisle is taking a holistic approach to battling economic woes.
The business, which serves up organic and sustainable locally-grown foods, announced that they may be forced to close its doors within the next two weeks. So, on Thursday night, owner Patrick Andrews hosted a brainstorming session at the Carlisle Theatre.
"If it came down to saving our business that I would have to buy factory chicken, then we could just close," said Andrews. "There would be no reason for me to do this. The reason I do this is to do something meaningful."
The business is hoping to raise between $30,000 and $50,000 within the next week.
Last year, The Green Room owners said they took a hit when they found out that their payroll company had been embezzling.
