LITITZ, Pa. (WHTM) -

An 18-year-old Lancaster County man has been charged in a drunk driving crash that killed his passenger.

Christian Mark Will, of Lititz, was charged Thursday with homicide by vehicle while DUI and related offenses, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.

Will on July 5 lost control of a car and hit an embankment in the 400 block of Owl Hill Road in Warwick Township. The car flipped on its roof and then slammed into a tree, killing 18-year-old Dylan Dieffenbach, also of Lititz.

Prosecutors said Will if convicted faces at least three years in prison if convicted of the second-degree felony of homicide by vehicle while DUI and a maximum penalty of 18 years.

Will was also charged with homicide by vehicle, a third-degree felony, DUI, and summary offenses of failing to drive a vehicle at a safe speed and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

He was released on $75,000 unsecured bail following his arraignment. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for October 24.
