State police said three people were killed in a crash near Duncannon Saturday afternoon.
Troopers said it happened at around 2:40 p.m. on Route 11/15 south in Watts Township.
According to police, a Chevrolet pick-up truck was traveling north on 11/15 when it crossed into the southbound lanes and hit a Chevrolet Cavalier head-on. Another car traveling south near the Cavalier struck those two vehicles and traveled off the road.
The driver of the truck, 69-year-old Stella Burgard of Duncannon, and two people in the car, 22-year-old Jessica Bennett and 21-year-old Jasmine Burns (both of New Windsor), were pronounced dead on the scene.
A man and a one-month-old baby in the third car were taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said it is not clear at this time why Burgard crossed the center line.
