FELTON, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police arrested three York County men and planned to charge a fourth suspect who was shot during a home invasion robbery early Tuesday.

James Herlth, 20, of Red Lion, was hospitalized after he was shot in the chest by the home owner, 48-year-old Douglas Downs, police said.

Herlth and three others identified as Chad Miller, 33, of Felton; Jacob Dittenhafer, 24, of Seven Valleys; and Robert Young, 26, of Windsor, had forced their way into Downs's home in the 3700 block of Brownton Road in Chanceford Township, according to police.

Herlth got into a struggle with Downs, who was able to retrieve a handgun he kept in his recliner, police said.

His medical condition was not available.
