HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Republican Joe Pitts has been re-elected to the seat in Congress he's held since 1997.

Pitts won a four-way race for Pennsylvania's 16th congressional district by defeating Democratic candidate Aryanna Strader and Independents James Bednarski and John Murphy.

District 16 includes parts of Lancaster, Berks and Chester counties.
