HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Republican Charlie Dent has been re-elected to the congressional seat he's held since 2005.

Dent, of Allentown, beat Democratic challenger Rick Daugherty, in Tuesday's election for Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district.

Daugherty, of Bethlehem, is the executive director of the Lehigh County Senior Center.

District 15 includes parts of Dauphin, Lebanon, Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
