    Some hurricane victims in New Jersey have a little more to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, thanks to midstaters who took part in our Operation Sandy Relief campaign. We asked and you answered. HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

abc27 is teaming up with Mission Central for Operation Sandy Relief, an effort to help people who were in the path of Hurricane Sandy.

Mission Central has a hub of churches that distribute critically needed items in New Jersey and New York.

From November 7-16, we will be collecting the following items:

- Winter Jackets: Men's, Women's & Children's;
- Warm Socks for men, women & children;
- Baby Formula;
- Diapers;
- Children's Toys (baby dolls, trucks);
- Batteries (any size);

All donations may be dropped off at Mission Central. Hours Monday through Friday are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those who wish to make a monetary donation can do so at Mission Central's website, www.missioncentral.org, or send a check to:

All collected items will be delivered to Northfield, New Jersey on Monday, November 19.
