Lebanon police said a bullet meant for a robbery victim struck an occupied home in the 600 block of Chestnut Street.
No one inside the home was injured during the incident just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, and the intended victim was not struck by any of the fired rounds, police said.
The victim reported that he was walking east on Chestnut Street when two men pulled a gun and demanded his stuff, police said. He told officers the shots were fired as he tried to run from the robbers.
The victim reported that the men had called him by name, but he claimed he did not know them, police said.
The robbers fled south on Bollman Street, then east on Federal Street, police said.
