Pa. Senate Democrats reelect Costa as leader

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Pennsylvania's Senate Democrats have reelected Sen. Jay Costa to a second term as minority leader for the next legislative session.

Sen. Anthony Williams was reelected Senate Democratic whip in the caucus election.

The leadership elections were held nearly a week after Democrats gained three seats in the state Senate.

The new session of the General Assembly begins in January.
