Update at 6:30 p.m.: Police report Jada Perkins has been found in Derry Township.
Jada Dijon Perkins, of Wynnewood Road in the Pennswood apartments, was last seen at Central Dauphin East High School around lunch time Wednesday, according to police.
Perkins very recently moved to the area from Philadelphia to live with her father and has no known friends in the Harrisburg area, police said.
She left a note, but it gave no indication where she would be headed and, to the best of her father's knowledge, has no phone or money, police said.
She was last seen wearing a red jacket over a light gray hoodie, blue jeans and white Nike sneakers with a purple swoosh. She is carrying a black and white book bag.
