CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two Carlisle residents have been arrested for the robbery of a bank in South Middleton Township.

State police said 31-year-old Scott A. Tilden was responsible of the robbery of the Susquehanna Bank at 330 York Road Thursday afternoon, as well as a previous holdup at the branch on October 31.

Alicia A. Lopez, 31, was also found to be involved, police said.

Both were taken into custody with a large amount of money and heroin in their possession, police said.

Police on Thursday used a helicopter and dogs to search the area around the bank after a robber with plastic wrap around his face displayed a handgun and demanded money, then fled through a nearby residential area shortly before 3 p.m.
