Franklin Township motorcycle crash injures driver

DILLSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A York County man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash late Thursday in Franklin Township.

Daniel Patterson, 24, of the 200 block of Whiskey Springs Road, lost control of the motorcycle and left Coffeetown Road near Ken-Lin Drive shortly before midnight, according to Northern York County Regional police.

He was thrown from the 1995 Suzuki after it collided with an embankment and a large stone, police said.

Patterson, who was wearing a helmet, was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment for his injuries.
