Front Street exit on I-81 remains under construction

West Shore commuters will have to wait a little longer to use the I-81 Northbound ramp on Front Street.

It was supposed to reopen last week, but construction crews found more damage than anticipated underneath the bridge.

A PennDOT spokesman said cold temperatures are having an impact on painting efforts.

A long-term plan for the construction will be on Monday, according to the spokesman.
