MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County are investigating the second robbery of a Subway restaurant within a week.

Lower Allen Police Chief Frank Williamson said a masked man armed with a handgun demanded cash from employees at the Subway in the Wesley Plaza at around 6:40 p.m. Sunday.

There were no injuries.

The robber was described as a white male in his 20's, with a slender build, approximately 5'7" tall, and wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and a black ski mask, police said.

He was last seen heading to the rear of the shopping center.

Williamson said his department is working to determine whether the crime is connected to a November 12 robbery of the Subway at the Windsor Park Shopping Center in the 5200 block of Simpson Ferry Road.

The robber in that incident was carrying a crowbar and had a white long sleeve T-shirt wrapped around his face. He was described as a white male, about 6'3" tall, and was said to be wearing a black leather jacket, black pants, gray baseball hat and black gloves, according to police.

Anyone with information on either of the robberies is asked to call Lower Allen Township police through Cumberland County Communications at 717-238-9676.
