Lancaster man surrenders in homicide case

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lancaster man wanted for a fatal shooting in the 500 block of South Lime Street last week has surrendered to police.

Lancaster police said 27-year-old Jamaal M. Harris, of the 600 block South Lime Street, turned himself in to detectives Monday morning.

Harris was charged with criminal homicide in the November 14 death of 21-year-old ​Dennis McFadden Jr. and sent to Lancaster County Prison without bail.

McFadden, a resident of the 1500 block Passey Lane, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died in the backyard of a home.

Police have not disclosed a motive for the killing.
