Aspiring firefighter Tajon seeks a midstate family

Posted: Updated:

This week's Val's Kid is Tajon. "Tajon is an energetic, fun, well-mannered, well-behaved child who takes pride in doing well in school" said his Permanency Worker Stephanie Williams.

Tajon, who also looks up to firefighters, has a kind and giving heart. "I just like to help people in need," Tajon said.

He's always jumping to help out even at the day care or after school program. He likes to help out with the little kids, and he'll take care of them. He's voicing concern when they're getting into things. "He's just a very caring person" said Williams.

Now Tajon needs a family that will take good loving care of him. "I'd like brothers and sisters around my age, about 2 of them. Not that many kids in the house, but a lot of kids to play with on the block" said Tajon.

Tajon loves math and art classes. "I'm a very good drawer and I just like art," said Tajon.

Williams thinks Tajon would be a great son for the family that is willing to make a life long commitment.

"Somebody that has the time and energy to give him the attention that he needs. He likes to kind of pal around with that adult. Somebody who has the time to show him things and teach him things. He's extremely smart. He likes to ask a lot of questions. Somebody who can take him out and increase his knowledge," said Williams.

Tajon loves baseball and the Philadelphia Phillies. For more information on Tajon call the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network also known as SWAN the phone number is 1-800-585-7926 or go to our website abc27.com.
