The day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year.
Flyers on the east coast shouldn't have too many problems because the weather is cooperating. However, west coast travelers could encounter some problems at Los Angeles International Airport. Workers there are planning a protest Wednesday. Officials are asking passengers to give themselves a three hour cushion in order to make their flight.
By rail, Amtrak expects Wednesday will be their busiest day ever. They are advising people to check their train schedule because many lines are not up to speed after of Hurricane Sandy.
AAA is estimating around 39 million people will travel on the roads this week. They encourage drivers to start their trips early Wednesday morning, as traffic gets heavier in the evening.
