A Glen Rock man has been charged in a road rage incident and hit and run crash that occurred in the York County borough three weeks ago.
Travis Nelson, 28, was charged via summons with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, hit and run, driving on suspended registration, reckless driving and related offenses, according to Southern Regional police.
Nelson and another man were involved in an altercation November 1 at the intersection of Baltimore Street and Main Street. He then caused a crash with another vehicle in the intersection as he fled the area and did not stop, police said.
The driver of the third vehicle was not injured.
No charges will be filed against the other driver in the road rage incident. Police said their investigation revealed that the man was defending himself.
Charges are pending against the owner of the vehicle Nelson was driving. Police said that person permitted Nelson to drive a vehicle with a suspended registration and no insurance.
