Job Description: 

Provides basic/intermediate episodic health care services to include physical exams; ordering, conducting and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests; prescription of treatments and protocol accepted medications; and performance of designated procedures such as suturing of simple wounds. 

Emphasizes health promotion and disease/accident prevention with teaching, counseling , communication with PCP and discharge instructions. Provides physical and psychosocial support to patients and families. Working with Transitions of care team. 


Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant course/degree with licensure/certification. PA licensure will be required with approximately six months related on-the-job experience. Surgical Services experience preferred.
