Police: man, 26, arrested for rape of a child

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

An Enola man is facing child rape charges following an extensive investigation, according to Lower Paxton Township police.

Police arrested 26-year-old Joshua Markelwitz, who is accused of sexually abusing a young girl.

A 15-year-old girl told police that incidents had occurred in her home, at their church, and in his car and dated back to when she was 12 years old.

Markelwitz is in Dauphin County Prison on $750,000 bail.
