MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police in Cumberland County have charged four people in connection with a series of fires Friday evening in Silver Spring Township.
Jonathan Moser, 21, and a 15-year-old, both of Mechanicsburg, were arrested for burglary, arson, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and conspiracy for the incident in the first block of Glendale Drive, according to township police.
Anthony Arbogast, 22, of Camp Hill, was charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief and conspiracy, while 18-year-old Shelbi Usko, of Lewisberry, was charged with criminal mischief and conspiracy, police said.
Officers sent to the area for a report of possible trespassing shortly before 8:30 p.m. found two small fires inside a home that was under construction, police said.
Officers and firefighters left the scene at around 9:45 p.m., but were called back about 15 minutes later when the property owners found that someone had set fire to their two cars.
The juvenile was placed in a detention center. Moser was sent to Cumberland County Prison on $25,000 bail.
