I-83 North bridge to close for inspection Sunday

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

The Interstate 83 North bridge within the Eisenhower Interchange east of Harrisburg will be closed for several hours Sunday for a routine maintenance and inspection.

PennDOT said the bridge will be closed starting at 7 a.m.

While the bridge is closed, a detour will direct drivers to Route 322 East, to PenHar Drive, to Paxton Street, to Route 322 West back to I-83 North.

The work previously had been scheduled for December 2, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
