HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Three masked men forced their way into a Harrisburg home and robbed a woman after her 13-year-old daughter answered a knock at their back door, city police said.

The robbers were armed with handguns when they demanded money from the 45-year-old woman and searched her home in the 1600 block of Paxton Street before taking cash, a handgun and her purse Tuesday night, police said.

The woman's 7-year-old child was also home at the time, police said. No one was harmed.

The robbers were described as three black males in their 20's, about 5'4" to 5'7" tall and of medium build, and all were wearing black clothing, gloves and blue bandanas covering their faces, police said.

Anyone with information may call Harrisburg police at 717-255-6586.
