HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Harrisburg police have identified a body found Wednesday evening in an abandoned garage in the 600 block of North 18th Street.

Marcus Garner, 37, had been missing since the day before Thanksgiving.

The cause of death was not immediately available, but police told abc27 News they are treating the case as a homicide.

Police said last week they were looking for Garner because he had not been in contact with friends or family since November 21.

The body was discovered at around 5 p.m. by someone who was walking by the garage.
